BRIDGE TO LEWISTON SCENARIO | |
Scenario features and goals:
- Large, detailed map
- Six territories to conquer
- Lots of water obstacles requiring good bridge building skill
- Three computer players to add interest
- Several choice driven event lines which allow you to improve certain areas of your company at your choosing.
- Game begins in 1910 and you must achieve all objectives by 1945 (1935 for gold)
- Intermediate difficulty

General Gameplay Tips:
I tested this scenario very thoroughly, however there may be some glitched I am unaware of. If you discover any feel free to let me know on the Bug Report page.
The goals of the scenario are:
- Connect Clarkton to Lewiston by 1945
- Have $30 million in industry profit for silver
- Do both by 1935 for Gold
The map will vary somewhat each time with the distribution of resources. Generally you can get a good line running between Clarkton and Kingston to start off. I had good success connecting everything in Clarkton Province where the scenario begins before expanding to other territories. The next two: Jefferson and Perch provinces are both relatively affordable for access rights. You can get a nice industry going in these three provinces before moving on to the rest of the map.
It is advisable to begin investing in industry early on to achieve the $30 million. You'll also find the income really starts flowing in eventually if you do so making the final run of the right half of the map to Lewiston, including the extensive bridge building, relatively painless since you'll have plenty of funds to work with.
The lower left section of the map is a little bit difficult (unfortunately this is where you begin) because the corner of the map has a scroll control when you go to set up the train routes. This is especially true for the cities of Clarkton and French Camp. It's a good idea to just add these to the route by clicking the Add (+) button instead of trying to scroll and zoom into the corner to click on the station's "dot".
